Jo Tondeur: Mijn onderzoek focust op hoe innovatieve en digitale technologie geïntegreerd kan worden in het onderwijs, en ook hoe de fysieke ruimte invloed heeft op het leerproces. Ik heb altijd gezien hoe belangrijk de inrichting van de leeromgeving is, of het nu gaat om digitale tools of andere materialen. Deze fascinatie heeft mijn werk sterk beïnvloed en heeft ook geleid tot de ontwikkeling van verschillende praktische richtlijnen voor scholen.  ESTAFETT: Je hebt gewerkt aan een inspiratiegids voor de Vlaamse overheid. Hoe is die tot stand gekomen?  Jo Tondeur: De inspiratiegids ontstond vanuit een oproep van de Vlaamse overheid om in kaart te brengen hoe fysieke ruimtes een rol spelen en hoe je ze kan verbeteren. In samenwerking met architecten en onderwijsexperts hebben we praktische, haalbare oplossingen bedacht die scholen direct kunnen implementeren, zelfs met beperkte middelen. Het draait vooral om bewustwording van hoe je de ruimte kunt inzetten om de onderwijsdoelen te ondersteunen.</image:caption>
